Hi everyone, this is my first blog, and I’m going to share a little story about the necklace that I’ve made recently. Hope you like it!
Because of the Lunar New Year this year, i was less gather with people 🥺 then i had more spare time to make jewelry, wanted to put oriental touch to it 🏮.
Have you ever heard about Kowloon?
Or in original word, Gao and Lung, which means nine dragons. It is related to the story, The Legend of 9 Dragons. This is how this necklace inspired. Each of dragon represents awareness, art and music ,knowledge, Strenght , adventurous , calm, purity, support, and litigation.
Actually It’s been a very long time since I made the sketch of this necklace, and finally I had enough time to release my imagination.
Well, the appearance of the 9 dragons are displayed in shades of gold, yellow to purple colour, to generate the effect of fire 🔥..👀.. I like the mix and match energetic color combination of red, yellow, purple, crime and gold. It is wrapped in 6 layers design, with the beautiful gemstones, Mookaite.
Sometimes it feels underated to say Mookaite as semi-precious stones because this stone has beautiful natural rich colour between yellow, orange, beige, red, and purple. Mookaite is variety of Chalcedony, also known as Australian Jasper. Mookaite is believed as a nurturing, grounding and shielding stone.
